The El Potrero Art Residency has been held since 2017 as an artistic exchange and creation program in the province of Entre Ríos, Argentina. It is a research, networking, and production project that fosters communal living in a rural setting among artists from various disciplines, including visual arts, literature, audiovisual arts, music, and performing arts.

The work of participating artists revolves around questions of connection, integration into new territories, and local contexts. The program promotes contemporary artistic practices as potential languages that offer new perspectives and actions, fostering networks and exchanges of knowledge with the local community.

At the end of the residency, an event called “Tranquera Abierta” is held at the residency’s facilities, where artists present their work in progress in an open studio format.
