FlussLab is a transdisciplinary residency that has been operating as a platform for traditional practices and innovative processes since 2018, with locations in Berlin and Buenos Aires. Our proposal offers a collective and community space to rethink practices through explorations, processes, and critical thinking. The on-site experience contrasts with the technical and cultural resources that the various participants bring and make available.

We offer two residency formats, accessible through an open call:

ONSITE. An in-person residency where artists live together in a shared house with workspace for four weeks. As a conclusion, an Open House and Exhibition day is proposed. Dates: February-March at Isla del Delta, Argentina; and August-September by the Elbe River + Coswig/Berlin.

ONLINE. Daily online meetings for two weeks, culminating in a closing day where residents share their processes. Dates: July and November.

Our program offers weekly project development sessions led by our team of curators. Work in the Makerspace with the team’s industrial designer, who will welcome them to her workshop to experiment with different materials and techniques. Workshops with invited guests selected based on the projects and interests of the residents. Visits to local scene spots (galleries, museums, artists’ studios). Personal tutoring sessions with the core team members of FlussLab.

We invite all those interested in STEM disciplines: Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics, who are willing to engage in interdisciplinary dialogues, to join our program.
