´ace is an International Artist-in-Residence Program founded in 2005 by Alicia Candiani, located in a century-old house in the Colegiales neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The program operates as a hub for contemporary art production, serving both as a platform for creation and critical reflection on contemporary artistic practices and as a bridge between resident artists and Buenos Aires’ vibrant cultural scene.

Through research, production, and urban/community intervention residencies, ´ace fosters immersive experiences, artistic exchange, critical discussion, interdisciplinary experimentation, and collaborative work. Additionally, the program strengthens and expands artistic and cultural networks at both the national and international levels.

While it is open to all visual arts disciplines, performance, and curatorial/research projects, the program has a particular focus on projects that explore multiple production formats through printmaking, photography, new digital media, and design, investigating their intersections and pushing their boundaries. It also supports projects that use these media to intervene in urban spaces.
The program is equipped with specialized facilities, making it an ideal space for experimentation and the development of innovative proposals.
