Between August and December, the third edition of the Constelaciones Scholarship was held, a residency program for artists, curators, and researchers from the Quincho Network.
Constelaciones promotes experimentation, research, and artistic production through collaborative work among the residencies of the Network. The program connects urban and non-urban contexts from all regions of the country. Each resident takes part in two Quincho member residencies for one month each, thereby creating links between the projects within the Network.
Constelaciones also provides special support to enable residency coordinators and residents to meet in person for a dedicated working session. It is an opportunity to generate new crossings and exchanges between agents and mobilize our scenes.
In this edition, more than 300 applications were received, and a total of 15 scholarships were awarded—13 to individuals residing in Argentina and 2 to residents of Spain. This distribution aims to encourage exchange between local art scenes and strengthen international dialogue.
The selected participants from Argentina were María Luiza Amorim, Cristóbal Tatian, Julia Cossani, Roma Blanco, Yamil Ezequiel Leonardi, Guido Bertos, Mauro Suárez Torrico, Pantera Villalba, Juan Spolidor, Daiana Rodriguez, Nadia Paz Pissano, Sofía Casadey, and Rocío Rivadeneyra. For Spain, curator Juan Canela conducted the pre-selection process, and the selected artists were Amaia Molinet and Julio César Palacio.
