Manta is an artistic practice project that aims to foster the exchange of experiences and the creation and interdisciplinary research in the arts.

It focuses on the environment and its sensitive impacts, seeking to create spaces for less rigid and more breathable lives. The goal is to change the structures that constrain us, shift frequencies, and create actionable change.

Manta works to enable new ways of connecting and relating to the world through our practices in and through art.

Since 2013, based in San Martín de los Andes, Patagonia, Argentina,

Manta has been supported by Fondo Desarrollar Cultura from the Ministry of Culture of the Nation, the National Arts Fund, and Iberescena Subsidies for Ibero-American States.

In 2015, Manta was invited to the Artistic-Managers Meeting organized by FNA in Rosario, and to the Curatorial Residency for Artists-Managers in Santa Fe. The following year, Manta participated in the Congress on Management of the Real, Culture, and Art in Territory in Buenos Aires, Zona Habitada at the Córdoba Art Fair-Market, Panorama ArteBA 2021, and the exhibition Other Configurations: Dynamics of Self-Management from 2001 to Present at the CCK in Buenos Aires.

Manta is part of the Quincho network and Cuero network of managers in Patagonia.
