In Capitán Sarmiento, we offer micro-residencies in an art-focused, natural setting. These residencies began in 2013 and take place four times a year, once each season. They are part of the La Flecha project, which also includes workshops and work clinics in the city of Buenos Aires. The project is conceived as a metaphor for the creative process: the precise moment when the artist observes, clears, directs, and launches. The arrow takes a direction, in conjunction with the winds that pass through it, and the artwork unfolds.

We are located in the middle of the Pampas plain, where the horizon stretches out 360 degrees. From this vastness, artists are invited to explore and generate connections between their individual poetics, the shamanic perception of nature, territorial exploration, and the writings of philosophers, artists, and adventurers. Strategies are proposed for creating within a specific space and time, from the silence of words and expanded listening. It is an invitation to generate projects tied to nature and rethink our artistic practices, building a space for experimentation, production, and research within 250 hectares of open field, a spacious house, and a shared work shed.
