PAC and MONTE are launching a joint research and creation residency for artists, curators, and researchers, fostering experimental spaces across territories. Based at Gachi Prieto Gallery in Buenos Aires, PAC promotes the exchange of knowledge, experiences, affinities, and inquiries among diverse cultural agents from the local scene, functioning as a hub for research and production. Located in the native forest of Chaco, MONTE specializes in the intersection of art and the environment. The residency emphasizes the study of the landscape as a space for listening, with a focus on acoustic ecology.

Casa Belgrado (Balvanera, CABA) — Manta (San Martín de los Andes, Neuquén)

The proposal is to reside in Manta to research, explore, and develop projects in a natural environment, engaging with the landscape and the local knowledge. Then, at Casa Belgrado, artists will have the opportunity to work and experiment with these materials, using the house as a scenic device for rehearsals. The residency culminates in an exhibition, performance, activation, or any format the artist deems necessary to share their process and explorations with the public in both locations.

Nave Ágora (La Paternal, CABA) — Pastizal (Reserva Natural Las Piedras, Buenos Aires)

The residencies “Nave Ágora” (Buenos Aires City) and “Pastizal” (Pigüé, Buenos Aires Province) invite artists, researchers, and cultural managers to participate in an artistic residency exploring the possible relationships between human conceptions of nature and technology.
The journey begins at “Pastizal,” located in a nature reserve, where participants will reflect and create around the notion of nature. Are we part of it? What is our nature? What is the impact of our relationship with it?
The next stop is “Nave Ágora,” in an urban environment, where new questions arise: Is our nature technological? Does it change when we modify our surroundings? Is human production natural or artificial?

La Ira de Dios (Buenos Aires) — Raíces (Aconquija, Catamarca)

This constellation invites artists and curators to immerse themselves in the landscape of Aconquija, Catamarca, to develop work in connection with the ancestral and natural elements of the valley. The experience will then be elaborated and shared in relation to the cultural scene of Buenos Aires.
The residencies will collaborate in designing the program, including virtual pre-meetings with participants, joint support throughout the creative process, and a final project presentation. This program aims to provide space for research, experimentation, and to foster collaborative work across territories.

El Galpón (Aluminé, Neuquén) — Corazón (La Plata, Buenos Aires)

Constelaciones offers the possibility of connections between distant residencies in regions of stark contrast, united by a sense of community and intimacy. The program encourages creative immersion, opening spaces, blending worlds, and expanding environments conducive to creation. At the same time, it fosters a shared sphere among diverse residencies, welcoming artists, researchers, curators, and communities.
Our intention is to create a boundless map, open to new political and affective approaches, entering the in-between spaces we often overlook, to share the discoveries made along the way.

Fundación ‘ace (Colegiales, CABA) — Poliniza (Río Ceballos, Córdoba)

The Poliniza – ´ace constellation offers the opportunity to live and create in contrasting environments: first, in the natural landscape of Río Ceballos (Poliniza, Córdoba), and then in the metropolis of Buenos Aires (´ace), fostering a sensitive appreciation of different contexts.
With an affective approach to territory and artistic production, the residency includes both research and production phases. We invite artists and researchers from all disciplines to explore and respond to cultural, social, environmental, and/or urban impacts, culminating in a public presentation and/or exhibition of the work developed during the residency.

RARO (CABA) — Las Cuevas (Reserva Natural Cerro Colorado, Córdoba)

The “Las Cuevas-RARO” constellation offers a complementary experience through a residency dynamic that unfolds in two stages: an initial phase of exploration in a natural environment, followed by a production phase in one of RARO’s workshops, culminating in an exhibition in Buenos Aires.
This partnership focuses on artistic research and production in relation to cultural and natural heritage as an ancestral legacy, addressing topics such as environment, conservation, and sustainability from a transdisciplinary perspective. In both rural and urban settings, the possible connections between nature and humanity intertwine and amplify one another.

El Potrero (Entre Ríos) — Documenta (Centro, Córdoba)

In contemporary Argentina, artistic and cultural production can be seen as a “zone to defend.” In this political context, where the cultural ecosystem is under threat, Potrero and Documenta invite participants to move between both residencies to reflect on the possibility of creating a reserve—developing strategies and methods to reclaim and protect artistic and cultural value.
What is a reserve, and how is it formed? What forms of survival can we imagine? How can our practices become spaces of preservation? Can two libraries become a reserve?
Both residencies house a library and a print workshop, fostering reflection on ways of making, ways of living, and their relationship with the surrounding environment.

Curadora (San José del Rincón, Santa Fe) — Crudo (Rosario, Santa Fe)

Curadora and Crudo are geographically united by the Colastiné River, which flows from north to south and empties into the Paraná River, where the city of Rosario is located. We propose one month of continuous shared work between both residencies in the province of Santa Fe: Curadora, immersed in the lush nature of San José del Rincón, and Crudo, located in Rosario, a city renowned for its vibrant artistic scene.
The first 15-day stay at Curadora is designed as a space and time for ideation, reflection, experimentation, and the projection of creative processes. In the second part of the residency in Rosario, the artist will connect with local institutions, galleries, and artists, as well as share a workshop with some of them, allowing them to expand their project and generate synergy with others, concluding with an open studio at one of the galleries of Crudo.

Zona Imaginaria (San Fernando, Buenos Aires) — Casa Nubera (Tafí del Valle, Tucumán)

We invite artists interested in developing works based on the arts of fire, with a special focus on exploring these techniques in an environment rich in natural, ancestral, and community heritage, and sharing them with the artistic community of Buenos Aires.
We propose a program that begins at Casa Nubera (Tafí del Valle – Tucumán), where we immerse ourselves in the territory and the techniques of local artists/craftspeople. The program continues at Zona Imaginaria (Villa Jardín, San Fernando, Buenos Aires), where the production phase will take place in specialized workshops, and artists will have the opportunity to share their creative processes with the community and visit other spaces within the Quincho Network.

Alberdi (Alberdi, Córdoba) — Epecuén (Epecuén, Buenos Aires)

Residencia Epecuén and Alberdi invite artists, curators, and researchers to explore the possibilities offered by the discrepancy of territories, from urban architectures to rural landscapes, intertwined with the potential of the landscape and the issues of narrative. The program will be structured around situated artistic practice, dynamics, and exercises aimed at problematizing and highlighting the importance of contexts/territories and their contagious effect on the artwork (Epecuén), in connection with an open space to circulation contexts, focusing on research into the circuit, fairs, and exhibition experiences (Alberdi).

Casa Estudio Batz (Unquillo, Córdoba) — La Paternal Espacio Proyecto (La Paternal, CABA)

The continuous residency at La Paternal Espacio Proyecto (CABA) and Casa/Estudio B’atz’ (residency of the ÓN/ÓN project, Unquillo, Córdoba) invites artists and researchers from any discipline interested in the intersection of empirical and theoretical knowledge. We encourage the production of a personal transdisciplinary project with the following focal points: pedagogical self-management, artwork creation, and research; art-research (social and political topics localized and addressed through various artistic proposals).

Casa Suiza de La Boca (La Boca, CABA) — Flusslab (Delta de Tigre, Buenos Aires)

Casa Suiza de La Boca – Flusslab. Both residencies are connected by water, whether in the course of the historic Riachuelo or the vast river systems of the Paraná Delta. We foster a creative dialogue among residents on how this vital element influences life, art, and community, inspiring projects that reflect its significance in the urban and natural fabric.

Barda del Desierto (Contralmirante Cordero, Río Negro) — La Rural (Racó, Tucumán)

How do contemporary architectures, landscapes, and their fictions converge in art? From Museo Barda del Desierto (Norpatagonia) and La Rural (Tucumán), residencies in rural contexts, we open the program as an expanded proposal to provoke a meeting through dialogue, intersections, and perspectives on artistic production in relation to the challenges posed by a territory and the complexities of creating landscapes.
We aim to deepen the relationship between art and science, exploring the unique languages of each discipline within the frameworks of biotechnologies, augmented reality, counter-mapping, artificial intelligence, and diffuse architectures. We seek to imagine a connection to the poetic, political, the small, the material, fragmented, and transient.
